Night at the Milan's Duomo
Marble.
It's use has been known since Roman times, but was used in rare cases. The most important use of this marble is in the construction of the Milan Cathedral. The Duke of Milan Gian Galeazzo Visconti granted fact in 1387 the use of the quarries of Candoglia.
